About Jimmy Hurd

Jimmy Hurd currently serves as the preaching minister of the Holgate Street Church of Christ in Seattle, Washington. He is an outstanding speaker, facilitator, leader and organizer. He is a creative developer and presenter of profitable ideas.
He has had over 30 years of effective leadership experience with churches, nonprofit, government and military organizations. Jimmy began his professional career as a hospital administrator in 1981 after completing the Master of Health Administration degree from the University of Washington. He transitioned into full time ministry in the fall of 1988 after completing a tour of active duty as a US Medical Service Corps officer in the U.S Navy.
He has served the church in the states of Washington, Oregon, Michigan and California. He is actively involved in supporting the missionary efforts of the church in Ethiopia. He has made five trips there to teach and encourage the brethren.
He and his wife, Jacqui reside in Renton, Washington, a suburb of Seattle.
